I apologize for the slow updates to my blog! I’ve been covering a lot of shifts at work, so posting has been fairly slow. I’m doing my best to learn to manage my time, so bare with me!

I received these two products from SKEDERM for review. I got these products on the 28th of June, so I’ve had about a week and a half to test these products. Though that is not a good amount of time in order to really form a solid opinion on a product, a few things stood out to me immediately so I will cover those things in this review. Perhaps in the future I will do an in-depth review once I’ve emptied them, but for now, here is my review of these two products from SKEDERM.

If the title had you exhausted just after reading it, because I know I’m exhausted just after typing it, I’ll spare you any further nonsense and try to keep keep this review short, sweet, and to the point! This is a fairly simple product anyway, so there’s only so much I can say. I ordered this serum off of Amazon back in early March after seeing such good reviews from those who suffered from redness due to sensitive skin and rosacea. With the price point being just under $10USD, I figured I might as well give it a try.

We’re halfway through May, which means that in about a month summer will be here! Like most of us in the northern hemisphere, I’m busting out all of my summer clothing and preparing for days at the Jersey Shore. However, preparing for days of fun in the sun also means protecting myself. I’m the kind of person who uses sunscreen all year, rain or shine, so this is no special occasion but I felt that now would be an appropriate time to share with you the products I have been using lately and will be using going into summer.

Lushies, unite! I’ve been a long time customer of Lush Cosmetics as I really admire the company for their ethics and how proactive they are with the campaigns they involve themselves with, as well as they markets they support (ex. Fair Trade, Grassroots, etc). This is also the company that really opened my eyes to skin and hair care, as it made it convenient for me to find products that supported my lifestyle at the time that I became aware of them. Around the age of 18, I turned to veganism and took a shot at a “minimalist” lifestyle. I looked for products without packaging or ones that produced very little waste, and wanted to try out more “natural” ingredients. Lush made this easy; they have a recycling program for their black pots, their packaging is made of recycled material, they even have products that have no packaging (shampoo bars and soaps), as well as use natural ingredients such as oils, butters, and plant extracts. Lush is mostly known for their bath bombs and bubbles bars, but today I will be taking a look at their skincare line starting with their Enchanted Eye Cream.
